Here For You

Here For You

Here For You, formerly known as the Well-Bean Café, is open every day to offer a safe social space and emotional support. Here For You Leeds is run as a partnership between Touchstone and Leeds Survivor-Led Crisis Service.

Call: 07760 173476 from 6pm on the night you want support.

Opening Times: Every day from 6pm.

Feeling down and not sure where to turn? Our local out-of-hours services offer face-to-face support for those nights when you are struggling, or may have thoughts of self-harm or suicide. We understand that any of us can struggle from time to time and we are here to help when you’re feeling low or overwhelmed.

You Are Not Alone. We Are: Here For You.

Our Leeds service is open to anybody aged 16 years and older living in Leeds, who feel they need same night support, but do not require medical or specialist attention. The café runs at three different venues across the week from 6pm to midnight.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday: Lincoln Green Community Centre, Cromwell Mount (LS9 7JB)

Tuesday and Wednesday: Touchstone House, 2-4 Middleton Crescent, Beeston (LS11 6JU)

Thursday and Friday: Stocks Hill Community Hub, Chapel Lane, Armley, Leeds, LS12 2DJ.

We listen when everything feels too much. Open 6pm–12pm every day. Free, safe, face-to-face. Here For You.

What We Offer:

  • A welcoming Social Space from 8pm-Midnight for up to 6 people at a time. This may be useful if you are looking for distraction from your thoughts and feelings and feel up to being around other people. We offer free refreshments, a range of activities and simply be a safe space to sit and be around others to remind you that you are not alone.
  • 1-to-1 Support in person at one of our safe spaces between 7.30-10.30pm. This is helpful if you have something specific on your mind that evening that you want to talk to one of our support workers about. This will be 45 minutes in length and you can also join our social space afterwards if you want to

Please be aware that our team are all trained Crisis Support Workers, but we cannot provide ongoing counselling, or medical advice. We have different staff on shift each night so you may see somebody different each time. You can ask for a male or female support worker if you do have a preference, but we cannot always guarantee this will be possible.

We Cannot Support You When:

  • You are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
  • You need medical attention.
  • You are seeking ongoing therapeutic treatment or counselling – we are here to support you to cope through the evening and deal with your immediate concerns. We are not able to provide a set person to support you or ongoing treatment plans.
  • You indicate you have an intention to harm others.
  • You are abusive towards staff members over the phone or in person.
  • We have already allocated all support spaces for the evening.

Our decisions are based on your risk, available support, ability to self-manage and our staff capacity – it is never personal.

How to Access Our Support:

Call us on 07760 173476 after 6pm.

If you do not feel comfortable to call or don’t have any credit, you can text us and a member of the team will call you back to see how we can help you.
We need to speak to you on the phone to make sure we can give you the best help possible. We are not able to provide text or email support.

What to Know About Contacting us:

It is best to call us between 6pm-7pm on the night you are wanting support. We do get very busy so we might not be able to support everybody.

The latest we start a support is at 10:30pm. If you call after this, our line is open until midnight to help you find the best support for you that night.

We will ask you a few questions about how we can best help you that night and understand how you are feeling. After this, we will give you a call back as soon as we can to let you know if we can offer you a support that night.

If we are not able to offer you a support, we will explain the reason for this and give you more information about other support options for you that night.

The Leeds service is a partnership between Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service and Touchstone (who are leading on the project).
